Trousdale Estates Tour

Led by Architectural Historian and Author Steven Price

The first tour of the series guided guests through architecturally significant mid-century luxury homes in Beverly Hills in the spectacular wooded hills above Sunset Boulevard. Once part of the famous Doheny Ranch, the 429-acre tract of land is  one of the world’s foremost hubs of modernist architecture during the ’50s and ’60s. Lunch was enjoyed on the expansive lawn of the Decter/Simon residence, designed by Howard Frank (1959), featuring Trousdale’s only known natural spring. To get on the mailing list for the book, “Trousdale Estates: Midcentury to Modern in Beverly Hills,” please email Steven Price at trousdalebookproject@yahoo.com.
